Project Overview

For this project, NuSteel called on the experience of its workforce to efficiently and safely fabricate steel trusses that make up the elevated pedestrian walkway. The trusses were fabricated and partially shop-assembled before receiving a protective coating at a hot-dip galvanizing facility. The assemblies were then put together into truss panels that were nearly 12’ wide and over 60’ long. The truss panels were shipped to the job site where they were completely assembled into box-truss sections and installed. NuSteel has convenient access to major galvanizing facilities which helps us keep the cost down for projects that require a hot-dipped galvanized coating.
